UNESCO Invites Think Pieces on the Future of International Cooperation in Education

UNESCO’s IdeasLAB is calling for think pieces that share perspectives and provocations on what will shape the future of international cooperation in education, due November 10, 2025. The call is linked here: in English and in French.

From the call for think pieces:

At a time when the multilateral system is under significant strain, our call seeks perspectives about recent changes in global governance, multilateralism and international cooperation in education. UNESCO’s Future of Learning and Innovation Division invites pieces that bring critical insight, fresh analysis, and creative foresight to present changes and future possibilities. We are not looking for prescriptive formulas or promotional pieces. Selected contributions will be published on the IdeasLAB platform, helping to shape ongoing global dialogue around the futures of education.

Contributions are welcome from a wide range of voices — researchers, educators, policymakers, futures thinkers, youth, civil society actors, and others who engage with education and its governance in different ways.
