Extended submission deadline: 15 February – CfP – IV CONGRESSO SIPSE

Beyond materiality: “let the historical-educational heritage speak”. Sources, approaches and discourses.

The 4th SIPSE Congress will take place in Turin in December 2026, in both in-person and online formats. It intends to offer new perspectives on the study of historical-cultural heritage, encouraging anyone wishing to participate and present at the conference to reflect on the need to “move beyond the materiality” of school cultural heritage with the aim of unleashing its full potential in the fields of research, teaching, and also Public History. Hence the invitation to “let the sources speak”, highlighting the plurality of meanings and values they can reveal.

Date: 3 to 4 December 2026 in person, and online on 9 December 2026
